I'm Aj, a passionate Newborn and family photographer based in Minehead, Somerset. I'm dedicated to capturing the purest moments of your baby's early days. My style reflects the natural side of newborn and family photography. Focusing on your little one and their baby details, a no fuss photoshoot with a professional end result.

 

As a mother of two beautiful daughters and with over 10 years of experience working with newborns, I understand how important it is to feel calm, supported, and confident during your baby’s first photoshoot. My sessions are designed not only to capture those precious early memories, but to do so in a way that’s gentle, natural, and entirely baby-led.

Theres something magical about newborn photography - the tiny fingers, sleepy smiles, and the incredible love that fills the room (and snoozy parents in the corner). My goal is to provide a relaxed experience where parents can enjoy the moment whilst I take the photos they'll adore.

 

My Approach & Baby Safety

I specialise in soft, natural and elegantly styled modern photography, focusing on your baby's authentic beauty without overwhelming props or heavy editing. Using gentle, baby-led posing and soft, neutral tones. I create images that highlight your little one's delicate features and the emotions of these fleeting moments. Your baby’s safety and comfort are at the heart of everything I do. I’ve had training in newborn posing and swaddling, and I always use natural, relaxed poses to ensure your little one is settled and secure throughout.

 

My Studio

All my newborn shoots take place in my light filled studio, a welcoming setting located in Minehead, South West Somerset. The studio is designed for parents comfort in mind.

Equipped with neutral wraps and baby outfits, a wardrobe exclusive for mums / mums to be. Providing the perfect professional and safe space for your baby and family. Also equipped with snacks and coffee - of course! Parents can simply sit back and take a break.
