Proof that time can fly past! The lovely Rob and Shelly wed 10 years ago and I happened to be their photographer for the big day. I witnessed the most fantastic wedding, full of fun and laughter!
The Wedding Morning
I arrived at Maunsel House in awe at how incredible this location was, the outside had so many spots perfect for the couple photos following the ceremony including a rustic barn, peacocks surrounding. A wooden bridge, a driveway with trees overhead. The house itself was covered in beautiful ivy adding to it's delightful character then I stepped into the house... Paintings of royalesqe people, metal knights and stuffed animals. I was in my element and I was the photographer this lovely couple chose to capture the big day.
The best part of the day was yet to happen...
During the morning prep we looked out the window to only see grey clouds and rain had started. I took the planned guest photographs and heading down to the groom before the bride made her appearance, keeping in mind this was an outdoor ceremony, we were all a little worried. Then all of a sudden the sun showed it's face from behind the clouds, the second Shelly stepped outside. A moment we'll all remember!
Celebrating a Decade of Marriage
Following the big day, I stayed in touch with the new Mr & Mrs. I was blessed to photograph they children growing up and then a few weeks ago I was asked to photograph their 10 year anniversary! I couldn't believe it. Where had that 10 years gone? I accepted and we met in front of the very building they married years previous.
It was a lovely reunion! Thank you Shelly and Rob for allowing me to be a part of your big day and milestone celebrations.
